About FindArt

FindArt is a Danish art marketplace with one mission: to democratise art. We give skilled, ungalleried artists a stage and an audience — and let quality be ensured by a community rather than a closed jury panel.

Our mission

Far too much talent stays invisible because access to galleries and exhibitions is narrow and closed. FindArt opens the gate: any verified artist can show their work, and the audience decides together what deserves attention. We believe great art can be found everywhere — not only behind a gallery's façade.

How it works: The Wall → Greenlit

FindArt is built on a hybrid curation, where the community and the editorial team work together to bring the best works to the fore.

  • Onboarding: A light gate: you sign up as a verified user and make an originality declaration. That keeps spam and AI copies out — without a heavy panel.
  • The Wall: All approved works are visible on the Wall. Here the audience can like, save and vote on works. The works cannot be bought yet — the Wall is the stage where artists bring in their own audience.
  • Greenlit: When a work gathers enough unique saves within a fixed window, it is automatically greenlit. A guest curator can also bring an overlooked work to the fore manually. Greenlit works can then be bought at a fixed price.
  • Purchase: Buying is safe and direct. Payment is handled via a secure payment provider, and delivery is ordered at checkout. The artist receives their fee, and FindArt takes a transparent commission.

For artists

You need neither a gallery nor a network to get started. Create a profile, upload your work, and let the audience discover you. You keep the rights to your works, and you set your own price. When a work is greenlit, it can be sold — and you are paid your fee automatically.

For buyers

Discover original art directly from the artist, without middlemen who push the price up. Save the works you love, and help decide what deserves to be brought to the fore. When you buy a greenlit work, you shop safely with secure payment and trackable delivery.
